By accessing or using cleanerbuddy.com.au (the “Website”) or submitting a service enquiry, quote request, or expression of service interest through our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using the Website. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Website.

• Cleaner Buddy directly — where Global Genie Marketing and IT Services Pty Ltd or its employed or engaged cleaning staff carry out the service; or
• Our associated independent Service Providers — where we refer your enquiry to a third-party cleaning operator who contacts you directly and carries out the service.
Our role through this Website is to receive your service enquiry, quote request, or expression of service interest and either arrange a service directly or refer your enquiry to a suitable associated Service Provider. We do not accept online bookings or process payments through this Website. All scheduling, pricing, and payment arrangements are confirmed directly with you — either by Cleaner Buddy or by the relevant Service Provider — following receipt of your enquiry.
This Website is a digital asset of Global Genie Marketing and IT Services Pty Ltd.
3. How Enquiries and Quote Requests Work
3.1 Submitting an Enquiry or Quote Request
When you submit a service enquiry, quote request, or expression of service interest through our Website, you are not placing a confirmed booking or entering into a binding service contract. Your submission — including your contact information, service address, property type, cleaning requirements, and any special instructions — will be received by us and either:
• Handled directly by Cleaner Buddy, who will contact you to discuss your requirements and arrange a service; or
• Forwarded to one or more of our associated local Service Providers who operate in your area, who will contact you directly to provide a quote and arrange the service if you wish to proceed.
3.2 No Guaranteed Availability
Submission of an enquiry through our Website does not guarantee that a service will be available at your preferred time, in your location, or at any particular price. We will endeavour to respond to your enquiry promptly, but we do not guarantee response within a specific timeframe.
3.3 Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring all information submitted through our Website is accurate, complete, and up to date, including your contact details, service address, property type, and description of cleaning requirements. We accept no liability for delays or failure to connect you with a cleaner arising from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.
3.4 Service Agreements
Any agreement to proceed with a cleaning service — including the scope of work, pricing, scheduling, and payment terms — is confirmed directly between you and Cleaner Buddy or the relevant Service Provider following your enquiry. These Terms govern your use of the Website and the enquiry process only; the terms of any cleaning service agreement are separate and will be communicated to you at the time of engagement.
4. Services Provided Directly by Cleaner Buddy
Where Cleaner Buddy directly provides cleaning services to you, the following applies:
4.1 Scope of Services
Cleaner Buddy offers residential and commercial cleaning services including but not limited to regular domestic cleaning, end-of-lease cleaning, office and commercial space cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and one-off deep cleaning, as communicated to you at the time of engagement. The specific scope of any service will be confirmed between you and Cleaner Buddy prior to commencement.
4.2 Your Obligations
Where Cleaner Buddy is providing the service directly, you agree to:
• Ensure safe and suitable access to the property or premises at the agreed service time
• Ensure the property is reasonably accessible and that a representative is available to provide access where required
• Advise us of any known hazards, special requirements, or fragile items at the property prior to the service
• Provide adequate facilities including water and electricity for our cleaners to carry out the service
4.3 Standard of Service
Cleaner Buddy will carry out all directly provided cleaning services with reasonable care and skill, in compliance with the Australian Consumer Law. Where a service is not completed to a reasonable standard, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion so we can arrange a remedy.
4.4 Cancellation of Directly Provided Services
Where Cleaner Buddy is providing the service directly, you may cancel or reschedule by providing at least 2 working days’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee, which will be communicated to you at the time of engagement.
5. Services Provided by Associated Service Providers
Where your enquiry is referred to an associated independent Service Provider, the following applies:
5.1 Role of Service Providers
Our associated Service Providers are independent cleaning operators who are not employees or agents of Global Genie Marketing and IT Services Pty Ltd. By using our Website, you acknowledge and agree that:
• Service Providers operate independently and are solely responsible for the quality, conduct, and outcome of the cleaning services they deliver
• Any service agreement, pricing, scheduling, and payment arrangement is made directly between you and the Service Provider
• Cleaner Buddy is not a party to any agreement between you and a Service Provider and is not liable for any act or omission of a Service Provider
• Service Providers are responsible for holding all required insurances, registrations, and authorisations relevant to their cleaning operations
5.2 No Guarantee of Service Provider Availability
We cannot guarantee that an associated Service Provider will be available in your area or will be able to fulfil your service request. Forwarding of your enquiry to a Service Provider does not constitute a booking or service guarantee.
6. No Payment Processing
Cleaner Buddy does not collect, process, or hold any payments through this Website. All pricing, invoicing, and payment arrangements for cleaning services are managed directly between you and Cleaner Buddy or the relevant Service Provider, as applicable, following confirmation of your service. We have no liability in relation to any payment dispute or financial transaction between you and a Service Provider.
7. User Conduct
When using our Website, you agree to:
• Provide accurate, honest, and complete information in all enquiries and submissions
• Not submit false, misleading, or fraudulent enquiries
• Not use the Website for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the Website or its systems
• Treat Cleaner Buddy staff, contractors, and Service Provider personnel with respect and provide a safe working environment
We reserve the right to refuse service or decline to refer an enquiry where we reasonably believe a user has engaged in misconduct, provided false information, or created an unsafe working environment.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Services Provided by Cleaner Buddy
Where Cleaner Buddy directly provides a cleaning service, our liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising from that service is limited to the cost of re-performing the relevant service, except where statute expressly requires otherwise. We are not liable for any consequential, indirect, or special loss or damage.
8.2 Services Provided by Service Providers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Genie Marketing and IT Services Pty Ltd expressly excludes all liability for:
• Any failure by a Service Provider to respond to your enquiry or provide a quote
• Any failure by a Service Provider to carry out, or to adequately carry out, a cleaning service
• Any acts or omissions of Service Providers, including property damage, theft, or inadequate cleaning outcomes
• Any pricing, contractual, or payment dispute between you and a Service Provider
• Any loss or damage arising from your reliance on information provided on this Website
• Loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from use of this Website
9. Consumer Guarantees (Australian Consumer Law)
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that applies under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (including the Australian Consumer Law) and that cannot be excluded by agreement. Where services are provided directly by Cleaner Buddy and a consumer guarantee applies, our liability is limited to re-supplying the relevant service or paying the cost of re-supply, at our discretion.

By submitting an enquiry or quote request through the Website, you consent to us collecting your personal information and, where relevant, sharing it with our associated Service Providers for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. Service Providers who receive your enquiry may contact you directly. We are not responsible for how Service Providers manage your information once it has been forwarded to them.
